OSCD PICNIC Wednesday, August 24, 2011

Our picnic over the last 2 years was great success, and a good way to get caught up with events over the summer. The picnic was held this year at Foster Park in Parksville.

OPEN HOUSE Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Our annual Open House was held from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

**OLD FASHIONED GALA Saturday, November 12, 2011**

Over the last several years, we hosted our popular Spring Gala. For the 2011-2012 season, we changed the format and the date. We held an Old Fashioned Gala on Saturday November 12, 2011. This was a dinner and dance event featuring the great music of Mary Ross. The dance program included many of our old dance favourites.

FALL SEASON WRAP UP POTLUCK AND DANCE

Our last dance of the fall season was held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011. We began with a great potluck dinner at 6:45 p.m., followed by a super selection of dances. We will do this again at the end of the winter term, in early May.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our next Annual General Meeting will be held on May 2, 2012. At that time, we will elect our new Executive for 2012/2013. Please click on the Executive link on the left side of the screen to view our Executive for the current year.

END-OF-SEASON WRAP UP POTLUCK AND DANCE

Our final regular dance night for the 2011-2012 season is always good fun. We begin with a potluck and follow with a selection of dances suitable for newer dancers and experienced dancers.

DANCING IN THE PARK

We have held this event for the last 3 years, and it has been a popular introduction to the new dancing year. This year, we will again have this event in Foster Park, Parksville, on Wednesday, Aug 22, 2012. The event will run from 3:00 p.m. to dusk with dancing and a pot luck dinner.
